A tool that helps individuals make wise career and education decisions.
Get startedAnyone faced with an education and career choice and interested in maximizing the return on such decisions
Our service allows you to run an unlimited number of age earnings profiles by education and occupation combinations and displays to three graphs at a time.
You will be able to see a nice visual representation of your lifelong earning potential and to compare the lifelong earnings between different combinations.
We offer institutional subscriptions to the PEAP tool to school districts, schools, universities, and any other organizations that may be interested in offering the service to their students, employees, or clients. Unlike the individual subscription, the institutional subscription allows the user to change the sex and the base level of education.
Please reach out to us for more information regarding the institutional subscriptions.
The models are built by running regression models on the data obtained from the rolling 5-year Public Use Microdata Sample (PUMS), a subset of the American Community Survey (ACS) from the US Census Bureau. See specifics of the survey and methodology here: https://www.census.gov/programs-surveys/acs/data/pums.html
Over 6 million actual individual earnings records are used to build the PEAP age-earnings profiles.
All data is adjusted for inflation in current year dollars.

Great app if you are figuring out what career path to take.
I really liked the fact that you can compare different education and occupation combinations and see how much you will make over the lifetime. Highly recommended for anyone who is trying to figure out what to do in life.
